I also drive as means of commuting. By bike.

I highly recommend getting jobs adjacent to social media with full time contract. Sometimes it’s insanely busy, much more than a person can handle, but if you can manage the stress, there’s many slow days where you can just play games.

I need a 6 hour shift. 8 hours is useless. I’m not even efficient for the 8 hours. Any time above 6 hours is just power tripping, because the employees don’t even work through it, it’s just the employer demanding you are at work for that much. If I recall correctly, studies clearly show people are far more efficient with less week work hours. I have so many coworkers who stay at work longer, but they absolutely do not work. They go around chatting, playing guitar, foosball and generally fuck around. I hate the culture where being at work is valued so much more than working.

My grandma’s sisters used it for toilet cleaning.

There’s shredded people with double chins. Studies show people who are of overweight BMI (not obese) have the longest lifespan anyway. Let people live.

Sure!

jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/…/1555137

Relative to normal weight, both obesity (all grades) and grades 2 and 3 obesity were associated with significantly higher all-cause mortality. Grade 1 obesity overall was not associated with higher mortality, and overweight was associated with significantly lower all-cause mortality.

If I’ve read it correctly, being overweight is “healthier” for longevity. My understanding of science is that being overweight isn’t unhealthy, quite the opposite, but its closeness to obesity is the true danger. So it is healthy to be “overweight” according to BMI, but it’s close to being obese, which is very unhealthy, so if you don’t watch yourself, you could hurt yourself. Aiming to be in the high “normal” BMI or low “overweight” BMI is probably the most reasonable approach. But it may be more difficult for people who build muscle to tell what that is for them.

Look into pop OS and Garuda. Those are two gamer designated distros so all should be enabled by default and just work. Garuda is arch based and arch is super easy to use terminal wise. Feel free to poke me whenever you need help and I’ll be happy to help, but you probably won’t need any help. :)

I had this issue so frequently with Windows yet never with Linux. Fuck Windows.

I’ve never used Mint and I don’t get the hype. I didn’t have to modify anything on endeavourOS for stuff to run. All I do on endeavourOS is yay to get updates and install via yay -S [pkgname].

On endeavourOS I run Steam via flatpak since it uses 32bit libraries, so I personally prefer it separate, but I used to have it non-flatpak and it worked normally.

There’s a lot of results for Steam games not launching on Mint with hopefully something which may solve your issue. Sorry to be of no help. :(

At what point is violence on a large scale justified?

I know this is a really vague question, but it’s been on my mind A LOT lately. I’m specifically asking about people fighting on behalf of a group that is subject to oppression of some kind. 3 years ago, with all of the protests in America that included violence majorly against property and minorly against people but were...

Violence against an oppressor is always justified. Why does your gov support the oppressor? Because they’re an oppressor themselves and need to support the narrative of being an oppressor being fine, so they don’t get revolted against.

I tried Mastodon, but had dead feeds and the discovery was really bad. All I want is gay people but I’d get USAian politicians and other irrelevant shit. I got BlueSky and it’s all very relevant. Many dead accounts, true. Still seeking out ppl to follow.

Yesss! If apps accepted webp, I’d be fine, but many things like Discord and so on don’t accept it, at least for avatars.
