Telodzrum,

Density keeps going up on magnetic platters while prices keep dropping on a $:TB comparison. I see no reason to wish for HDD to ever go away so long as they are cheaper and better for mass storage.

Telodzrum,

Brah, how often are you logging into services on your set top box?

Telodzrum,

Endurance cards are so worth it. They’re what I use in my Pi units and our dash cams. I just whish I hadn’t fried so many normal cards before coming around.

Telodzrum,

The blocklist automatically updates as long as you’re using maintained sources. It’s pretty easy tbh.

Telodzrum,

Auto-Type will be disabled when run with a Wayland compositor on Linux. To use Auto-Type in this environment, you must set QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb or start KeePassXC with the -platform xcb command-line flag.

keepassxc.org/docs/KeePassXC_UserGuide#_auto_type

This works for me.

Telodzrum,

DND table without at least one person being insufferable about the microbrew sour six-pack they brought challenge [IMPOSSIBLE}

Telodzrum,

Yeah, I’m not going to the beach at 50F, but I can hike, golf, just hang out outdoors, etc. If it’s sunny 50F can even feel rather warm.

Telodzrum,

Mister Back and Forth, as named by a toddler watching it clean.

Telodzrum,

Seriously though, it’s like internet comments and takes never stopped being 2008 over there.

Telodzrum,

The velocity of money and its effect on economies is pretty neat.

Telodzrum,

I see the cost cutting efforts have come for drip loops now.

Telodzrum,

As long as it’s Blink, it’s not worth the time.

I feel like breaking my windows install was a rite of passage

Lately ive noticed that i was wanting to do certain things on Windows that just seemed much easier and more intuitive on Linux, based in the OS specific solutions i would see to problems i encountered. And i was more frequently using software where Windows support seemed like an after thought....

Telodzrum,

Which is not to be confused with the “Right to Dressage” from the 9th Amendment.

Telodzrum,

I’d just like to interject for moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called Linux, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called Linux distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux!

It’s. Not. Your. Game.

You’re buying a license which is subject to conditions decided upon by the developer, publisher, platform, and others. If you want to own a copy of the game, don’t buy it on Steam.

Downvote all you want, reality isn’t changing to match your feelings. Stop supporting DRM or quit bitching while simultaneously strengthening the system you are choosing to ignore.

Telodzrum,

The one uniquely human product in all of the planet’s history? Yeah, ok.

Telodzrum,

Terrible take almost all golf courses run their irrigation in a closed loop system.

Telodzrum,

Why are both Debian and Debian: Kidz Edition on there?

Telodzrum,

I managed to get the last few of mine like that (all Ubisoft, fuck them) running through Lutris. I know some people swear by bottles, too.

Telodzrum,

Made the switch to full-time daily driver Linux this year instead of dual booting. Next year is the year of Arch.
