VaultBoyNewVegas,

All bar 3-5 games out of 600 on steam I have work on Linux through proton and wine. I also have my games from gog and ea play and they all work too. The only thing else I use my pc for web browsing, occasional email and occasional word document. Linux does everything that I would’ve done on windows.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Cannibals are the real equalists. They don’t discriminate on where their meat comes from and probably eat some veggies with their braised butt.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Disagree. There’s far too many rapes and weird sex shit in those. There’s the whole BDSM torture in the first book, the MC is a product of rape, the second book has some form of demon beastiality ritual. The way kalan loses her virginity (thinks it’s her bf evil brother and she is really not into it at all and her bf is offended at her because she thought she was being rapes be his brother)

Then there’s big bad conqueror who forces a woman to suck his dick while in a meeting, then there’s kalans sister who’s a queen who gets literally thrown into a pit with a dozen men who proceed to rape her to the point that she’s permanently traumatized.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Becky chambers wayfinders

Locked tomb

Mark Lawrence’s book of the ancestor.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Did the same to star wars. He must hate sci fi because he’s ruined every sci fi show/movie he’s been involved in.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I’m only 27 and I was lucky enough to hear that one, no Wikipedia and no Google.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Lol. Your back and forth was entertaining. I expressed what I intended to, teachers were still doing the whole “don’t trust everything you read” and “you won’t have a calculator in your pocket” when I was at school.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Aww snookums, I was only providing an anecdote to the comment I replied too, no need to get bent out of shape over it. And fyi teachers were still telling us that we wouldn’t always have calculators when I was 16 doing my GCSEs and learning algebra and compound interest for an exam where we had two papers with calculators used and one where we weren’t allowed calculators.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

There’s a webcomic based on anthromorphic (the word for making something human like from something else) web browsers

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Wasn’t trying to explain anything, I really couldn’t/can’t remember the word for making a human form of something non human.

Years ago there was no way to watch one piece in my country. The only option for anime was funimation (which didn’t have a great library) and crunchy roll which had more of the big shows but it would be incomplete. Like a show would only have the second season or last season. Anyway the only way to watch one piece was via an extension to Firefox that spoofed crunchy roll but still required a premium subscription.

The only other way to watch one piece was online with sites like anime paha.

Also it gets real expensive paying for 4-5 services when theres a show on Amazon you want to watch, maybe 2-3 on apple, 1 on Netflix and 4 on Disney + and that’s not even including star trek.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

It’s the text ones for me. I struggle to read the font on some of them so I can’t tell the difference between a capital letter or a lowercase one so now if they’ve the text reader for blind/partially sighted people I’ll use that.

  • VaultBoyNewVegas,

Yep. I hate having to phone support lines to be told to run basic troubleshooting like turning something off and on again when that’s the first thing that I’ll try.

    VaultBoyNewVegas,

I read the fellowship years ago and ended up in a situation where I had all 3 books but they’re all different editions which annoyed me so I bought an all in one, the gilded pages and coloured maps and the extended glossary were all what sold me on the one I bought.

    VaultBoyNewVegas,

Mixture of no money and too much to do is my experience.

    VaultBoyNewVegas,

My killer is videogames, movies and TV shows and books. I bought a limited edition of Lord of the rings where it’s got gold leaf pages, coloured maps and is one volume and I’ve still been planning to read it 1-2 years later. It cost me 50-60 quid too.

    VaultBoyNewVegas,

It’s the word turnabout. I’m 95% sure that every case in all the mainline games starts with turnabout.

    VaultBoyNewVegas,

Yep and many times it does NOT work. In the UK Margaret Thatcher pushed heavily into neoliberalism and the current gov is still pushing it and it’s led to public transport not being reliable (not punctual and expensive) rivers being filled with shit because the water companies are not keeping rivers clean, people being denied welfare support because the task of assessing it has been moved to private firms who give bonuses for failing people.

    VaultBoyNewVegas,

Yep. People who work with death like first responders and pathologists are known to have a dark sense of humor. Helps to make things easier.

    VaultBoyNewVegas,

I can go a long time too. I only ever leave the house if I need to and most days I don’t.
