The Italian Liberals of the 20s adopted a “wait and see” approach, leaving the outnumbered socialists, anarchists and communists to fight both the fascists and the loyalists alone. Then when it was clear that the fascists were winning, the Liberals joined them.
I suspect that the 30s Social Democrats of Germany were similarly irresolute (though didn’t join before they were forced to) when dealing with the Nazi threat. Centrists tend to be, whether center-right like the Italian Liberals or center-left like the German Social Democrats.
I sit corrected, then. Should have known better than to think Social Democrats as useless as liberals in fighting fascists tbh, given what we’re seeing today…
Not many people know it, but penguins are excellent brick layers and if they were smart enough, ostriches and emus would make excellent guard birds! Also, kiwis are just adorably awkward, so they’re there to keep the morale up 😉

Aren’t there anyone who can help you with it, then? I don’t know about Britain or Ireland (I’m guessing based on your use of chemist), but here in Denmark, there’s all kinds of help available for when you can’t do that kind of thing.
Granted, if you have ADHD and/or anxiety like me, I fully understand that even finding who to contact about it and then contacting them can itself be extremely difficult 😮💨
Yeah, I hear you! I’m only functional enough to take my ADHD meds because the ADHD meds work and even THAT would probably crumble if I didn’t have someone remind me to renew the subscription when I’m about to run out!
And yeah, having to do paperwork alone is the bane of my existence! Not only because it’s difficult, but also because it makes me feel like much more dumb than I actually am. 20 years of going undiagnosed was plenty of unnecessarily low self worth, thank you very much! 😂
