It wasn’t just mods using 3rd party apps. Anyone that experienced the switch from old.reddit or that used mobile had to be using 3rd party or only half their brain.
Subs still works in my mind. Subdirectories of all, or subscriptions… whichever way you want to think of it. I never really thought of subs as short for subreddits though, that was just convenient marketing based of those same terms.
llms have progressed beyond cut and paste way more than a year ago. they have shown understanding of what items are and how they behave and interact. I know it’s popular here to call it a parrot or whatever but most people don’t have access to the high level stuff and most seem afraid/snobby/parroting things themselves.
I waited. bought it later and thought it was a poor gta 5 clone. Same with rdr. guess I just don’t like that style of game. Loved witcher 3 though. shrug.
I still deal with every company people here are listing. I even really like some of them despite the owners views etc. (if you make a good chicken sandwich and beat your wife, I’m still gonna eat that sandwich while hoping you go to jail).
I have not seen anyone mentioning Reddit yet though, and that kinda shocks me. I know it’s not the same as giving them a dollar but they’ve received no eyeballs, add revenue or obviously content from me since the exodus.
