There was a meme I saw on Lemmy a while back that said undiagnosed ADHD is like having life set to hard mode but you and everybody else think you’re set to easy mode.
Getting a diagnosis and/or treatment doesn’t change the fact that you’re on hard mode, but at least you know what you need to tackle.
My guess is yes. Many consider it the best Star Trek. I think I agree and I’m not even to the best parts yet.
The general look & feel of it is closest to TNG, if you’ve seen much of that. It’s not as campy as the original, but you get a few moments of “look at that actor on that obvious sound stage set pretending to be an alien, lol” moments. But DS9 has more long plot arcs. I am loving the cast of characters more than I remember too.
I would argue that scrolling through fresh memes on Risa(@startrek.website) while on the toilet is the pinnacle of living in the moment. Particularly at work.
The problem there isn’t that we (assuming the US) don’t want third parties, it’s that our voting system encourages party consolidation rather than cooperation. That only gets more true the higher in the government you go.
