I was a Christian until I was 18. One day I was reflecting on how Jihadist’s will blow themselves up because they’re totally convinced they’re right.
I asked myself if I would do the same, but ended up saying “I don’t believe that much”, which promoted me to ask myself “then why believe at all?”.
Since then I’ve totally deconverted and I’m now anti-theist. I resent that I was indoctrinated, and I see religion as the main culprit for most of the problems in the world.
Thanks, I need to spend time thinking about this. I’m drawn to discussing contentious topics because it’s interesting. I worry that without discussing these things which interest me that I won’t have a lot to say.

As an Aussie, firearms are very hard to come across. Also, I’ve never fired a gun before, so I would pick the shotgun because I know my terrible aim would be mitigated somewhat.

I spent three days installing Arch from scratch. After I got it working, I wiped everything and did it again and again, I wrote 2 simple script to automate the process, and after I was done, I wiped everything and installed Manjaro lol.
It’s a good learning experience, I recommend every new Linux user do it in a sandbox at least once.
If you try again, follow a dual-boot guide for your distro. Also, make your root and home partitions separate, so if you run into issues, you can reset safely.
