Piracy, some people buy 3 streaming subscriptions for 50€ a month just to watch one show.

Also depending on where you live you could take the supermarket advertisement magazines, they are free and if you live in an area where you can walk to your nearest stores it can actually save some money

I also know an old man who sells vapes, cigarettes and alcohol to kids (he couldn’ save up enougth for a good retirement). You’d be suprised how much 12yo actually pay for a vape you can buyat every store for 10€. He once told me he get’s his products from our cheap neigthbour country and only pays ⅓ of what he’s charging.

I live in central europe, I could travel across the entire continent in a day for not that much money and could go anywhere in the eastern part of my country for 60€/year, I could go to any western part of my country in 5h for less than 20€

this dark magic I could use is called a “train system” also reffered to as “good public infrastructure” by many

maybe they just assimilated hostile species, but I think they’ve always been kind of invasive.

I imagine the borg started as a peacefull cybernetic species who radicalised them self or their ai made some mistakes maybe. Or they started as an ai that became evil and assimilated biological life on it’s quest to perfection
