Why do people not understand that you can agree with one thing someone said or did while disagreeing with the majority of what they stand for? (www.youtube.com)

An example is that I generally despise Jordan Peterson and most of what he says, but I often quote one thing that Jordan Peterson said (in the linked video) because I think it’s a good summary of why toxic positivity doesn’t work....

cheese_greater,

toxic negativity is solution?

cheese_greater,

That guy is beyond toxic to me. I’ve never seen a less self-aware and more mentally ill psychologist.

I would see this guy before I ever entertained being in the same postal code as Peterson

He’s taking advantage of young, desperate, vulnerable men and its beyond infuriating as it is discouraging and dangerous.

cheese_greater,

Good Lafari

cheese_greater,

What is the purpose of such a simulation if ST is “correct”?

cheese_greater,

I like the other answer betta no offence 🎅

cheese_greater, (edited )

Do “they” ever intervene or do you think its strictly regulated, like double-blind or whatever?

Like do you think they actually do or can pick favorites (protagonists/main characters) or is it way more sterile?
