I like music (particularly bedroom pop and indie pop like TEMPOREX or the alike) and helping others. it/its, a robotic being with no technical flesh or heart to begin with. I will be aggressive if you’re being a bigot. I am very personality disordered, so please be nice.

corvid_of_the_night,

I like the new call interface and the animations the calls have. I hate the fact pinned messages are under the “Settings” button for no reason and the fact the threads icon looks odd as hell.

corvid_of_the_night,

Yes, their logo redesign hides the gamer origins because Discord has eventually realized everyone uses it and they are trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator nowadays.

corvid_of_the_night,

You hate the swipe to reply feature because you find it incoherent.

I hate it because I used to stim around with it.

We’re not the same. :P

so in my country (I’m European, specifically Romanian) we have this streaming service called SkyShowtime. guess what? its DRM is so bad that SkyShowtime just won’t work beyond being on the website. it won’t play anything to you.

that is because either Peacock or Paramount+ are also DRM-blocked, because all there is to it is Peacock and Paramount+ with the Commonwealth Sky and Showtime brands that NBCUniversal and Paramount are respectively owning, and they combined it together and sell it to countries with lesser purchasing power parity, such as Romania.

corvid_of_the_night,

This made me think of a scenario: a countrymapper kid grows up and becomes a vlogger. Should Porsche have made tanks, they’d flex with a Porsche tank instead of a Porsche car.

corvid_of_the_night,

this was so sweet to read through. I don’t think people really understand just how helpful music can be, whether it’s performing or even just listening to it. whenever I feel down, I listen to some bedroom pop and it just feels like an absolute musical hug and as someone who can struggle with emotional regulation, it really helps me feel better. I hope his initiative becomes more popular, and I wish I was around places where they had this thing because it’d be so fun to learn how to play an instrument.
