Apple’s philosophy has always been to make things as easy as possible for users, but only if the users agree to pay through the nose. That’s fine, but they also actively stop anyone from trying to do anything outside the limited number of actions they consider acceptable. It’s a good thing the EU is trying to stop that.
Good for you. Some of these board members are retirees who try and get a sense of power from policing rules unnecessarily. I hope I have better things to do with my time when I get old.
If only everyone thought like you. I don't mind being treated like I'm invisible, some folks are just busy or tired. But some folks actively spend time and energy trying to be rude.
That is always a good strategy. Eventually some people realise what a fool they're making of themselves. Others get even angrier the nicer you get, sometimes to the point where they can't function properly.
