hah, this one is funny!

Also, echoing @Imotali’s comment below (unfortunately you can’t sticky comments on lemmy): comments that express hate towards any group are a violation of instance guidelines. BE NICE.

[META] Creating a new community is easy, but to get people on board, you need to create some content.

If you create a community, please try and populate it with content. I see a lot of new communities with 0-1 posts from the mod. That’s not nearly enough to get people engaged - users are going to see that it’s a ghost town and leave....

"the person who has been working here for a long time must be wrong, it can't ever be the automated system!" - said no sane human being ever.

Income inequality would be lower in my ideal world. The income distribution should be more like the 50’s. A 4 day work week, and eradication of this “central business district” idea. There can still be offices for some people, but offices can be more geographically dispersed, with different sectors in different areas so half the city isn’t trying to get to one spot in the mornings, or leave that one spot in the evenings.

Once you get enough answers here, you could do a ranked-choice poll on which question is most suitable for a ranked-choice poll too!

Unfortunately everyone has a limit for how much work they’d like to put in.

Have you had any bad experiences with people on Lemmy?

I was recently talking to some friends about Lemmy and the whole Fediverse idea, as it seemed like a really cool part of the Internet. As I was talking about it, though, I realized how unusually friendly this whole place is, and I joked that I “surprisingly haven’t found any bigotry.”...

I feel like the amount of more challenging or unwanted behaviour has gone up just in the time I’ve been here

I see that too, but I attribute that to the growing number of users here. It’s an unavoidable part of growth, sadly.
