In 2013 Walt Disney Animation Studios released a theatrical short called “Get a Horse!” which features 1920s era Mickey complete with archival audio of Walt as Mickey (and others who voiced him then) as well as renditions of other classic era Disney characters including Minnie, Pete, Horace, and Oswald. Heck, even the logo for WDAS in that sort is Mickey whistling in Steamboat Willie.

It’s a pretty decent short too, even if you know nothing about Disney. And it played before Frozen in the cinema, 4th highest-grossing animation of all time.

I remember at the time thinking whether they might be doing it to try and protect their rights. I’m no lawyer though.

PC died. Trying the legal options.

And fuck. I really miss plex. I’ve had Netflix and Hulu forever as family won’t let me cancel. Decided to sign up to Paramount + for some Trek. Twice in lower decks it didn’t save my watched episodes. Doesn’t mark episode as watched if you exit during the credits. And multiple playback issues....

fartsparkles,

Have you got a buddy with a computer you can test components with? Might help you speed up the troubleshooting process?

fartsparkles,

Not to say cannibalize but perhaps one night just test their parts on your board or vice versa to figure out what component in yours has bitten the dust so you can understand what you need to replace and budget/save accordingly.

Hope you get it sorted soon, friend. I couldn’t live without my Plex server.

fartsparkles,

This sub is full of masters of finding glorious screen grabs!

fartsparkles,

That’s not a cricket bat, it’s a basketball!

fartsparkles,

Oooo do you have a link to that web assembly method?

fartsparkles,

How are you routing containers through the VPN container?

fartsparkles,

c/All browser here and not a subscriber of this community. But as a fan of Star Trek, I find this post pretty hilarious. Especially as Risa is part of at least four of the shows, at least one movie, several books, multiple games, RPG manuals, and more.

I imagine a hypothetical tatooine@starwars.website where the community posts nothing but pictures of sand with titles like “The beautiful view from my apartment” and someone dropping into that community to complain “what even is a tatooine!? all i can see is brown. why are you alienating non-starwars fans?

Or football@sport.website “Why is everyone running after spheres? Who are all these people? Why don’t you explain what a football are in your sidebar? Why are you alienating people who don’t have feet spheres?

Not everything on the internet is for you or required to cater to you. Rather than share negativity, simply try tapping on a different hyperlink instead and find something that is for you.
