’ Steve mould - does cool little kiddie explanations of physical phenomenons.
Foureyes furniture - a bit asmr, but a woodworking channel. Guy makes neat stuff and talks about life while doing it.
Wristwatch revival - alsp kinda ASMR, but guy takes apart and repairs mechanical watches. Very repetitive after the first few watches, but I keep watching anyway.
I’ve heard it’s just more of a burocracy thing. A friend there once told me he always puts the date wrong on the top of documents because there is a person who’s job is to double check your work. They’re judged on how often they find mistakes, so it’s easier to put something blatantly wrong at the top that easily fixed so they can quickly find it and he can move on.
Cultures who use bidets and not the bum gun will always confuse me. Ones a robot strapped to the toilet that does a medicore job at one thing, then other is a cheap water gun you can use for all sorts of shit (pun intended).
I grew up in Iowa which would see 0f and 100f every year easily. Now I live in Bangkok which is basically just 90-100 year round. I’m not sure Celsius helps either that much. But outside Iowa I haven’t cared much about the temp outside ever either.
We have plenty of evidence that were just a “random” assortment of atoms following natural laws. We see those laws around us everywhere. We manipulate them to build crazy things. We have no evidence were anything BUT that.
I got told we were like this once. Mle and my wife would literally tiptoe around after, carefully close doors, live in a constant state of worry, and still the next morning the guy below would say “you’re literally shaking paintings off the walls!” My wife was physically afraid to run into him after a bit.
At the time I thought the apartment must have paper thin walls that apparently I couldn’t hear through, but now I think he was just an ass. Living off self righteous anger.
I bet you’re closer in opinion than you think. I think most Dems would settle for universal background checks and no super weapons type rules. The same basic rules we have for other dangerous stuff. You need to buy insurance and you’re responsible if someone uses your gun in a crime. Stuff to encourage careful ownership.
