like, it’s still dark at 5pm, there are barely any sports on, still bitterly cold and austere and it hurts to go outside, but you’re not even looking forward to christmas or the new year. the new year is here, and it’s largely the same as last year. except you’re getting older.
I don’t know where you’re at, but I take a weekly trip to a greenhouse. I’m not a plant person unless they’re plastic, but it really does give a nice vitamin D boost and the smells are usually amazing. Take a stroll, many of them have benches where you can sit and contemplate. Mine even does a Sunday yoga class that you can watch or join. It gets me through the doldrums.
I use tdarr on my gaming machine and use the higher end GPU to do the work. I also use the trash guide for getting the audio profile I want in my downloads. Then in tdarr, I strip away audio and subtitle languages I don’t want and use the highest quality audio source to add a simple 2 channel audio to make it more compatible for more devices. That way I’m not needlessly transcoding 5.1 Dolby for people who are just watching on TV audio.

What's something you'd like to leave behind in the old year and not carry into the new year?
File size preference for Radarr?
I only download 1080p unless it’s something like LOTR that I’ll splurge on space for. A comedy doesn’t need spectacular visual fidelity....

Is it just my circle, or has it been a challenge getting into the Christmas/holiday spirit the last couple of years?

Who is the cruelest fictional villain?
I’m not just talking cruelty in terms of their goals, but also how they went about achieving their goals
Lighthearted, upbeat shows for adults?
