I remember when OpenAI were talking like they had discovered AGI or were a couple weeks away from discovering it, this was around the time Sam Altman was fired. Obviously that was not true, and honestly we may never get there, but we might get there.
Good list tbh.
Personally I’m excited and cautious about the future of AI because of the ethical implications of it and how it could affect society as a whole.
Nope, saving and loading works on that game (and pretty much every other game I tested), it’s just you lose the date display in-game so you don’t know when you really last saved.
I mean, Ghost Recon Wildlands which came out in 2017 for example has save dates written as a 32-bit date so it’s prone to the 2038 bug, I set the date to 2040 and tested a bunch of software and while you can save the date overflows and shows as 1969. I bet there are still people using 32-bit dates even if unintentionally.
That’s why it’s good to always have a camera with you, never know when you’re gonna get a good picture. That’s why it’s good phones have capable cameras these days.
Honestly my bigger problem is when I go downstairs without my phone, and then I see a red fox running around and playing in my backyard being very photogenic, or a squirrel standing on my windowsill posing for the camera. I run upstairs to get my phone, run back downstairs, and it’s gone.
Nah, that’s shit. We are not the problem. The people in this thread don’t seem to be the kind of people to go out and buy the latest device every 6 months. I keep my phones for years until either the performance or battery becomes nearly unusable for me. I install Linux on older hardware (and newer hardware) and buy new hardware when necessary, not every time it comes out.
You can blame the average person, sure, but saying all of us is just incorrect.
