So far I think I can trust MrMobile to give an honest opinion. When it comes to his channel its not just specs and numbers but real experiences. Quite different from the myriads of other tech channels on YT today.
I had the same thing happen to me but I was luckier. Yeah, I think that tracks. When we domesticated our feline masters they seem to have retained most of their natural predatory instincts, so cats would probably do quite well for a while until the large animals come. Most dogs wouldn’t survive probably, domestication has changed them so much compared to wolves, also we practically mutilated some breeds when we bred them.

I recommend sticking to GOS. If you’d like to use something else, I’d recommend DivestOS. CalyxOS, LineageOS, /e/OS and iodéOS are all significant downgrades in usability, privacy and security and therefore not worth using on a Pixel.
