Can I suggest you go to a different shelter? There is no way that an electric fence is better for dogs who escape frequently than an actual fence.
What you need to do is get an actual, tall, fence and maintain it. They sell hardware that you hammer into the ground to help prevent the dog from escaping - dig defender is the big brand name I think.
The electric fence is the “easy” way out that doesn’t actually solve the issue. My parents neighbor has an electric fence and quite frequently their neighbors dog ends up in their yard when he shouldn’t have been stopped by the fence. He’s a great dog and my parents enjoy him but still.
If you want to prevent the dog from escaping, you need to take the responsibility of the fence and maintaining it.
If you want to teach the Democrats a lesson, do it earlier. The presidential election isn’t the time nor place to play games - as we saw with Trump setting the country back years.
Your presidential elections are like the last step in the process. If you want to make real change, you need to start from the bottom up. You can’t just say (not saying you do this) “oh shit there’s a presidential election this year? And I dislike the Democrats candidate? Time to vote for a third party candidate to show them!”
It’s kind of like baking a cake I guess. If you just jump in at the end and taste the cake, well you’re stuck with what it is. "Oh I wish this was a chocolate cake instead of vanilla. I’m not going to eat this cake. I’m going to eat this other cake ", well you should have gotten involved earlier and who knows what’s in that other cake, it could have those disgusting flavored jelly beans in it.
It sounds like you’re leaning towards the contract role.
The first one seems more stable, and may be a better option if you have some debt to pay off or a mortgage.
However, working full remote has some additional perks that you’d have to factor in.
The important thing is getting some experience.
Is the second one just a 6 month contract, or potentially contract to hire or maybe another contract? If you have to job hunt again in 6 months, you need to factor that in to your decision as well.

I also waited out the release of some games that launched on the Epic store first. I begrudgingly bought them on Steam, and I hope enough others did to discourage other companies from doing that in the future.
I think what also turns people off of pineapple on pizza is some places do these huge chunks of pineapple. Smaller chunks are better as they actually cook down a little and are delicious.
I am also part of the pineapple and pepperoni game. I would also recommend trying pineapple and Italian sausage if you like Italian sausage.
