I usually try to misinterpret my sentences as hard as possible before posting.
It also works for program comments, I don't know how the fuck some text can seem to be almost perfect one moment and be totally useless garbage next time I find it.
I'm also a beginner and I noticed that debian let me install a lot of possible desktops. So I installed all of them, and I can switch on the password screen which one to open. I'm trying some stuff this way.
Is the gnome we are talking about that one that for reaching the taskbar you have to move the mouse to the top of the screen and then immediately to the bottom every time?
I remember trying Ubuntu Unity, back when I was wondering if I could be a good idea to switch Linux. But I had no patience at the time for the buttons on the opposite side of the window. I can't stop thinking that if it wasn't for that, things could have been quite different.
