Next smartphone I buy, which one do you recommend?

Things that make me angry about my current smartphone Samsung Galaxy S21Ultra on a Verizon plan is the mandatory software updates in which they install WITHOUT MY PERMISSION stupid apps like Netflix and addictive gambling games and stacking block games and Candy crush. God knows what else they install without my permission. I...

Get a used pixel for $100. Factory reset on arrival, and install Graphene OS. Do not install gapps.

Nope. Never needed it. Just dont use that crap.

I wouldn’t put anything financial on a phone, anyway. Use a secure laptop for that.

Which country? All countries I know about like this allow hardware tokens as an alternative to a smartphone with a TPM

Why? By default gapps doesn’t come with ROMs. Its usually more work to install gapps.

There have always been Jews opposed to Zionism since the idea was created. Its almost like stealing someone elsea land is immoral.

They were never given a vote. The UN voted to take away the Palestinians’ land, and the actual people living there weren’t given a single fucking vote in the issue.

The vote to create Israel in 1948

This issue has nothing to do with Jews. It has to do with Zionism.

Jews have lived there peacefully, yes. They did so without stealing their neighbors land. Its the Zionists that formed Israel and stole ~40% of Palesines land that caused the war.

There have always been Jews opposed to Zionism since the idea was first thought up.

Also disproportionate use of force is a war crime. We see Israel doing this in every war with Palestine since the Nakba.

Lol wut? There’s no way a manufacturer knows who owns the car unless it was registered

Erring on the side of caution is to say no to the random that calls you asking for GPS coordinates

What modes of transport do you really like?

For me personally, trams are right up there. Aside from the main issue of sharing the roads instead of having a dedicated line, they really make it easy to get from one part of a city to another, especially for wheelchair users. They’re usually as frequent as buses, but much faster. The stations are much more attractive...

These companies sometimes list their own movies on torrent sites and then record everyone who downloaded it from them. So, yes, they can see what you download if you don’t mask your IP through some proxy.

Get a hardwire router that forces all traffic through a VPN.

They’re lucky they didn’t get executed. Israel has killed, what, 25 journalists so far in the past month?

Good opportunity for Nepali entrepreneurs to make a Nepali clone. Does one already exist?

Nepal has banned all pornographic sites in 2018.

Hahahahaha, no. I was in Nepal and definitely watched porn. The censor must have been terrible because I didn’t even know it existed.

So, yeah, tiktok won’t be banned then.

How long after their release will Israel kidnap those released again?

What can we do about major sites blocking VPN providers?

I use ProtonVPN for everything, and I’ve started noticing more and more sites simply blocking me if I try to connect to them through ProtonVPN. As much as it sucks, I’ve more or less become acclimated to having to deal with an increased number of captchas while using a VPN; but I’m pretty angry about being blocked...

We need laws that prevent companies from discriminating by how you look. Websites should only be able to deny customers based on how they act. A simple innocent GET from a user with a VPN IP should not be legally permissible reason to deny them.

Depends where it sends the data. An encrypted email should be fine

The eIDAS regulation makes an enormous change by mandating man-in-the-middle attack technology that it would be illegal for browser makers to defend against

How would this law affect websites with Onion Services (eg Facebook) that don’t use http at all, but Tor’s internal pinned end-to-end encryption with a pinned certificate tied to the .onion name?
