I watched this one when I was a kid and it fucked me up. I couldn’t believe starfleet officers could do that.

It really depends on what versioning means for the project. If we are talking about semantic versioning then a lower number only means there haven’t been many breaking changes over time. Or that a lot of broken stuff has been kept that way because it would break compatibility.

Anything stranger than an insect wouldn’t really be considered life by most people.

Why the fuck are the weekdays called “Second”, “Third” and so on? Pretty stupid honestly.

Because every IDE implementa a different git interface and I can’t be bothered to figure out where they hid the commit, push, pull etc. buttons this time.

You are indeed right, my explanation was poor. But for other languages it is very common to get surprised at the end of sentences, yes.

It’s so you can start reading a sentence in the correct intonation

Gamers who have gamed for a long time

do you find it difficult to get into games? I’ve got Epic Games and Steam Games libraries chock-full of classic top-tier games along with many other newer games like Stray or 2077, and a bunch of indie titles. I just can’t be bothered to download and install them, much less try to get into the characters and storylines. Used...

Idk man the updates to games I’ve played for years get me very excited.

Playing other games? Why though.

lorty,
@lorty@lemmy.ml avatar

It will depend on whether the games you play support dlss and frame gen and if you’d use those features.

Nah, the watermark makes the meme funnier

Every state in the USA is still capitalist regardless of which party is ruling

The financial industry is, ostensibly, about connecting people that need money to people that have more than they need. In practice it’s about skimming from the top of EVERYTHING in society.

They mean the C-Suite “position” that changes absolutely nothing about inclusion or diversity in the company.

The workers might know, but the executives would rather pay millions so a big name can tell them.

The person who made this meme is too young to know about reselling stuff they own.
