During setup there will be a page that asks if you want to create or restore from backups. If you hit “restore”, it’ll ask you to point it to the backups folder inside the Tachiyomi folder. Tachiyomi has backups set up by default, but if it’s disabled you can go to the settings to create a backup

Heads up to everyone, Mangayomi asks for “all files access” in Android, which is generally only reserved for default systems apps. And it keeps asking for it even if you say no and ignore the popup.
Neither Tachiyomi nor any other app has asked me this before. I’m going to caution against using Mangayomi due to this sketchy behavior from them.
