Been a while since I’ve seen it but a movie called “A Day Without A Mexican” where rich assholes and middle class white people lose their nannies and field workers picking their food. I believe it was a dark comedy but like I said been a number of years since I saw it…
I think I need to watch that movie a second and third time. The first I wasn’t expecting the journey from a little guy finding success movie trope to literally being an insane bad guy, with a fucking brilliantly nuanced acting job by DDL. All of the layers went right over my head until the closing credits like…… oooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Super interesting too visiting the oil exhibit at the Kern County museum…knowing that PT visited it developing the ideas…and seeing the modern day oil fields, pipelines and smog everywhere around the San Joaquin valley now.
I literally grew up there and never thought much about it. I need to watch it again.
I’ve gotten stuff from Wish and Temu that is fine. Flashlights, tweezers, microfiber cloths, $10 wireless earbuds. I even ordered several pairs of shorts from Temu that were $8 to $10. They aren’t very durable but they function and look fine.
I ignore 100% of the gamification shit, I very much doubt you can get much that is free or a better deal…when it comes down to it they sell cheap shit for a small profit margin and that’s it. Spinning the wheel and inviting friends and having a shiny app is all just a fancy skin for the exact same stuff as on Ali, Wish, and eBay.
Maple bacon scented candle. It smells alright…I’ve gotten bacon scented/flavored stuff in the past that was awful. Back in the day my sis in law got me bacon flavored marshmallows that made our entire apartment smell like ass. Had to throw them away.
Are you wanting to put songs in wav or flaac Format or something? I feel like a decently size used iPod wouldn’t be a whole lot more than $100 and 100 GB could hold 10,000 songs in high-quality 320 kB/s or so.
It sounds like you’re trying to build an iPod classic with Bluetooth
I DJ weddings for about 10 years and literally had my entire entire DJ library backed up on one
If you’re going to post this video to 8 different communities at least add a context. Why are you sharing it? What is it? What’s the significance? Seems like a lot of work to just get a bunch of downvotes
I would order from eBay. It can be scary because each seller is separate and you have to check their ratings…but the system nowadays is very good. eBay has swung all of their policies to where they highly favor the buyer in disputes if there is an issue…to the point that buyers can easily abuse it. I was a seller and experienced this. If you file a dispute saying I didn’t receive my item or it wasn’t as described, they literally freeze the money in the sellers sellers account immediately until it’s resolved and the buyer has you by the balls.
You can search and see only items that ship to your country. I would imagine you find a lot that do ship to you. They make it easy because sellers can enroll in a program where you ship it to a certain address in sellers country and it gets forwarded to any country at buyers expense.
Just check the sellers ratings and read item descriptions, check return policy
