so then your argument is companies are wasting money because you and your circle aren't affected by advertising? how big is your circle that companies should fear not appealling to it?
Aww heck, I think Jaden and Willow are both pretty cool (their parents, not so much). Everybody has an akward teenage phase, his just couldn't be hidden because he's will smith's son.
I never saw the Jaden smith film, but that’s a bad joke right? That it’s kung fu, not karate? How did they even think it appropriate to still call it karate??
that article reads like if my 8 year old nephew read thru my tax return. But no matter how mozilla spend their money, Google are spending money their money on much more questionable and unethical things.
Not to mention every tv show thus far has basically been 10 episodes of padding, and 1 or 2 important plot points for future experiences. I won’t watch Echo, but I’ll look at the wiki afterwards to see what I missed. I watched episode 1 of Loki s2 and I’m considering doing the same now that the finale has aired. They’re all unimportant drivel, coasting off the brand name.
Disney is in the business of beating dead horses. But I’m happy for them to keep trying, I just won’t watch until they make something good. I still want to see a film with avengers/xmen/fantastic 4 in it at some point, but with the massive loss of momentum that’s starting to pile up who knows how this will unfold.
Sheets and productivity tools > libre office or Apache open office
YouTube -> Invidious or even better, odysse
Google search -> duck duck go, SearXNG, StartPage, etc
Gmail -> not a ton of great options. I’d probably recommend proton mail but the FOSS email world is definitely lacking, or gets blocked or goes down, harder to self host etc.
And I agree for sure. In order I use firefox (and brave sometimes), Proton Drive, Apple Productivity suite (pages, numbers etc), and either startpage or qwant, and proton mail. I do still use use YouTube Premium, but the point is Google doesn't need to have its fingers in every aspect of my digital life.
aesthetics, mostly. and honestly it's just the first place i've put my roots down, I don't think I have any specific loyalty to one instance or another.
