I’m a lefty so this may be incorrect but I think you also want to keep good tension on the paper while you do it. If that’s not a thing, then oops. Sometimes the glide works, the other 80% it bunches up about halfway through so I tend to try a few times then just give up. Also I assume it works opened more because the scissors tend to be sharper closer to the handle where they’re less used, in case that helps anyone figure out the sweet spot. So just do what usual leftys do, make the contact between scissor blades pull together with a good grip, have a nice tension on the paper and push it through slowly. Then get annoyed when it rips after it working once.
Yeah but I’d expect more stories of telekinesis if it ever worked, so I only try sometimes. Once did the Jedi mind trick hand wave for fun while high, got a laugh but don’t think they were swayed to whatever I suggested. Though was mostly hoping for a laugh at the time so got some success.
I’m biased since I grew up with the movie and always loved computers, but I watched it with my gf a few years back (okay like 7 years ago, at my age a few years isn’t a big difference) and thought it held up for what it was. It’s almost like an early cyberpunk jacked in experience but even without that thinking, being sucked into a computer sounded awesome and I definitely dug the fx in the 80s which I’ve seen a few shows about how it was revolutionary for the time.
Also think the cast was solid, Jeff Bridges needs no other comment, but I keep forgetting the rest of the names, Tron was the second commander in Babylon 5 show, the old scientist character was the grandpa in Lost Boys. Okay I cheated and checked imdb but too lazy to copy names, the dude who played Londo from B5 is there plus David Warner who is the bad guy in many things from the 80s.
It’s a slower paced movie but well worth the watch, and one line I always remember from it 'now that is a big door’s.
Also if you program the general premise is about code being stolen and him hitting them back, kinda cyberpunkish too.
Last time I went to McDonald’s there was a mess up and I was given the cash difference, I really dunno when I’ll use it offhand. I’m also in Canada, never had a use for cash after recreational weed happened. Weird they make someone go through unknown keypressss to do cash, vending machines do cash why not just be convenient for customers? Oh right, paying people to deal with the cash, cause that’d hurt McDonald’s bottom line heh.
