Raspberry Pi 4 + Konstakang LineageOS TV

I think it will come for RPI 5 too but as for now there’s only for the 4

For the ad-less YouTube I use SmartTube

I have no clue, to be honest. Maybe you can find more info on Konstakang’s site.
I never asked myself those questions because I have literally the cheapest TV with an HDMI port I could find

If we want this meme to be accurate, they all have to be dildos with just slightly different sizes and colors

I made it to Linux! What is your must-have FOSS or Free Software for linux?

Thank you so much, comrades! I am feeling pretty comfortable with linux mint, and now would like some suggestions for some absolutely necessary FOSS or free license software for the OS. So far I have the standard, Firefox, ThunderBird, LibreOffice, yada yada. Thank you again to everyone on the linux comm! sankara-salute

I always start with Syncthing, which is a cross-platform p2p syncing client I use to share documents between devices

pH3ra,
@pH3ra@lemmy.ml avatar

I never tried it seriously mostly because I don’t need all of the features it provides. But yeah that can be an alternative too

There’s a lot of flat earth science going on in this meme

Mandatory “use GIMP: is free and open source” comment

@pH3ra@lemmy.ml avatar

I justify the use of Adobe for professional use cases, like “I have to print a label with a specific set of colors and GIMP has bad CYMK support”.
If you have to put a signature where there isn’t one or stuff like that, GIMP is more than good for the job and in the meanwhile you’re helping a community project to grow.

  1. Create an IG account with a burner email and join the chat
  2. Sell all other member’s data to advertisement, scam telephone services, mailing lists, etc… subscribe all of them to newsletters from amazon and pornsites (or just wait for all of that to happen naturally)
  3. Wait for someone to bring this up
  4. "I told you, we should move to Signal"
  5. Bring everyone over

All of them: communities are so used to blow their own horn that every Distro becomes overrated in the public debate.
Each single distro is “fine” at best.
Except for Debian.
Debian is Great, Debian is Love.

The life of a punctual man is a hell of undeserved loneliness

I read this in a book when I was 15 and I’ve never been on time since

The main issue I’m having with liftoff is that I cannot upvote or comment posts from other instances with my lemmy.ml account, so I’m still using jerboa

pH3ra,
@pH3ra@lemmy.ml avatar

I can upvote and comment on posts from any instance.

I mean you can if you have multiple subscription or if you do it through your main instance, but that’s a feature all clients have and I think they do it in a more intuitive way, conpared to LiftOff

Have you tried the most recent update?

Yes, I’m on v0.10.7
