I’m all for it. I’d like them to lead by example. If this was actually enforced I bet my bottom dollar that public transport/mirco-mobility issues would be completely solved in 15 years max.
I have had zero problems with Linux so I lack knowledge and am overpaid? You have problems therefore you are paid fairly? Hmm sounds very logical. Any critical infrastructure project would be lucky to have you.
Furthermore, you have told another commentor in this same thread that they reek of incompetence because they have a 7 hour Windows install, yet I am being overpaid because I don’t have any problems in Linux? So a competent developer should breeze through Windows but should struggle in Linux? Is that it? Kinda contradictory don’t you think?
Every e-scooter is one less Uber on the road. Building bike lanes is the answer, not banning scooters. “Oh the Urbanity” did a fantastic video about it on YouTube, highly recommended.
There’s also a counter argument. Houses are also over regulated with exclusionary zoning. If they like to de-regulate housing then we can start the discussion from there.
He’s just a troll. I have seen many comments from this person They’re not even consistent in their opinions. Looks as if they make up shit, probably just asking for attention rather than contributing to the discussion.
I live in a place where nude pictures are, at most, an embarrassment
What part of above sentence don’t you understand? If their society (neighbours, employers, friends and family etc.) doesn’t care about nudity, what kind of dire consequences can you have in the wrong hands? If they were photoshopped into doing something illegal, it’s not something that can be avoided at all. So you “caring” doesn’t work either.
I am looking for something that goes into technical details from a developer's perspective. How does the ActivityPub protocol structured, how one app receives data from another (e. g. Lemmy to Mastodon), how does an admin de-federates another instance etc.
