WW1 experimental camouflage sniper’s suit using the concept of “dazzle.” Dazzle camouflage, also known as razzle dazzle (in the U.S.) or dazzle painting, was a family of ship camouflage used extensively in World War I.
is there more info about this as troop camo? Admittedly I didn’t look very hard, but the only things I could find were references to naval ships and planes.
I feel like people forget that the conditions are like that for everyone and not just themselves, so they think it’s ok to mill around the scene while waiting for emergency services. It’s a terrible idea to do so, and it’s absolutely safer in the car. If for one reason or another you have to exit the vehicle, get far away from the scene; like at least across the ditch or far into someone’s lawn
In all honesty, this is a technique that works. It won’t inflate the tire properly, it’s intended for situations like getting tires fitted to tractor rims, and it doesn’t use gasoline or oil. The main problems were the fact that they used oil, and a whole quart of it at that
I don’t have a lot of sympathy for the Southern Confederacy. They left the union because they wanted to expand the enslavement of people. That’s not just the leaders either, soldiers in the Confederacy made it crystal clear in their diaries and letters that they would rather die than be equal with a black person. They fired first, and they had no right to leave the union under any circumstances. They were traitors.
Local government is a good place to implement change. It’s not as difficult for a city to say that they’re going to build non-market housing, or ban r1 zoning, or removing minimum parking requirements, or reducing police funding, etc. Extragovernmental work is just as important as leftists in government. This meme is a bit too reactionary towards people on the inside fighting for change.

You have a magic pill, which de-ages you by 20 years. You can take it once in your life only, so long as you are at least 20. What age — past, current or future — do you reckon is best to take it?
