I can’t remember what I was watching, but I remember watching something where they said Kubernetes is designed for something so large in scale that the only reason people have heard about it is because some product manager asked what Google use and then demanded that they use it to replicate the success of Google and subsequently, hobbyists also followed and now a bunch of people are using stuff that’s poorly optimized for such small scale systems.

If you go into your HA, open up the integrations panel and it should list all the entities

Tempo is gorgeous, it’s up there with Auxio in terms of aesthetics. That said, I wish it had the feature set of Musicolet. I love being able to switch between queues and never having my randomised playlists reorder the songs because they drop out of memory.

Can anyone recommend a wireless doorbell that works with home assistant?

I currently have a ring doorbell that I pay a yearly fee for but I want to get away from Amazon and a subscription fee. I would prefer if it used the Wi-Fi and it was able to connect with my house doorbell. Edit: I’d also like to add that I would like it to have the ability to stream and record video.

Which is the main?

sabreW4K3,
@sabreW4K3@lemmy.tf avatar

I would recommend having a main one and shutting the rest. Otherwise people won’t know where to go

I haven’t had the problem and am really new to HA, but it sounds like the switches weren’t added properly. Perhaps try a reset?

Help with BHT-002-GCLZB thermostat

I used to have a Hive Home ecosystem until one fateful day where they limited my heating to 15 degrees and tried to freeze me to death unless I bought their newest thermostat and paid for their subscription. I ended up saying fuck the extorting bastards and bought a cheap Zigbee Thermostat to get me through the winter. It’s...

So I’m trying to update the reporting interval and it’s not letting me.

I theorize that I need to give it a hard reset to clear everything that got ported over from the previous set-up?

sabreW4K3,

I have it coming through Z2M, hence why I thought maybe a hard reset might fix it and give me the new climate card.

This is super helpful. Thank you
