I used to have an account at Demonoid but can’t for the life of me remember anything about it. Does anyone in this community still use it and could you provide an invite?
It did back in, I think, the early 2010’s. For some reason it popped into my head tonight and was tickled to find that appears to be alive and well, and as usual…closed for new registration.
I’ve worked in multiple retail stores and not a single one of them would do that. If the power went out, they lock the door. So that absolutely doesn’t work in the short term.
Long term? Idk, how long can you hold out w/o spending money?

I don’t think any CD I ever wanted enough to buy was less than $16. My family was poor so cassette tapes were still a thing for quite a while.
By the time I could start thinking about affording CDs, I’d already seen the movie Hackers (1994) and was convinced everything would be digital really fucking fast.
