treefrog, (edited ) to mushrooms in Psilocybe cyanescens

I’ve grown Pans and they’re no harder than cubes if you know how to pastuerize and balance FAE and humidity for oyster mushrooms. And I know people grow Psilocybe Cyans but they tend to fruit them outside in a wood patch.

I’ve grown Bisporus, which are slower than Cyans. If you know how to pastuerize (which you can do in a dehydrator if you want to make it idiot proof; message me if you want help on this), they’re not that hard. They like a lot of FAE and humidity, similar to oyster mushrooms, but people grow those all the time without issue.

Check out Baba Yaga’s thread on the shroomery, growing pans in monos. They really don’t require a lot of extra shit if you’re patient and know how to clone.

edit: my bad, these are the woodloving cyans not pan cyans. Anyway, Pans are fucking better than cubes and not hard to grow if you ever want to try.

I haven’t had great luck with Kings though they are delicious. Been growing Black Pearl and they’re super aggressive fruiters.

They are, but placebo makes it difficult to measure.

This study proves more is going on then placebo and will surely help more funding go into human studies.

It’s certainly not silly. But I keep pet rats and I do find the methods used in animal studies often cruel. This one included.

But it’s not silly.

Yup. Was on venlafaxine and then duloxotine. Had to switch to Prozac and taper that.

It sucked.

Ahh… I’ve gone through SSRI withdrawal and I thought maybe something similar could be happening because of the repeated dosing.

Was your dose frequency every other day?

I have a friend wanting to microdose and want her to be aware of your experience and possible withdrawal symptoms. The study used every other day which I would assume would minimize withdrawal considering psilocybin has a short half-life.

But I haven’t tried microing in years and when I did I only stuck with it for a week.
