I remember how last year there was a long time when ambient temperature was about over 30 degrees too. I don’t have AC at home and if I remember correctly I just opened one window and attached foil to another so sun wouldl not heat my room as much. Wasn’t that bad.

You don’t need to give anyone a disease to study medicine. Moreover, medicine is not limited to diseases. And it has both predictions and experimets.

In climate studies, it is not practical to increase temperature or humidity by x% and see the effects.

You still can observe, describe, analyze and model(predict). The goal of every science is to create prediction function.

I know there is saying that Moscow is not Russia, but I did exactly that. Also during summer most of regular people are on vacations, so there will be more space than during winter.

the mass transit “distance” being well over an hour, and the taxi “distance” being about ten minutes.

How? They use same road. Assuming there are 10 between each for one minute(which is a lot, usually it’s 10-15 seconds), it would add 10 minutes.

For example my route from home to uni takes 45-100 minutes driving, 50 minutes with two changes or 65-70 minutes with one change.

Nah, in Europe same thing except minutes are different. 15 minutes means about 1 kilometer.
