I was just going to say this. Holding on to the illusion of power as a major moderator is about to turn into a shitshow. Even Reddit themselves have been caught using chat bots to sway public opinion.
Reddit has decided to make every bad decision (favoring profits) possible, all at once.
I looooove watching reddit burn. Their CEO is so fucking incompetent but honestly, that's part for the course. Most CEOs are fucking morons fueled by nepotism.
Honestly, nobody even looks at other people's Karma. I didn't care much about it. Did people really care so much baout Karma that they mourn about it here, or miss it, or used to farm it?...
With Kbin, Calckey, Mastodon, lemmy, Hugo and more we can. We don't need to be trapped within the social media giants, especially after what happened to Instagram, Twitter, and now Reddit. Now is the time when we need to revert to the habit of using community websites, rather than social media giants.
I realized I interacted / posted / commented less and less on reddit these last couple of years. Couldn't even tell you why exactly. Now I've been here for a week and, I don't know, I just like interacting again... Hope it stays like this for a while :)
