zepheriths,

Yes but does YouTube it’s self make money? There isn’t a reason to run a section of your company if it costs you money.

I am not justifying 17 ads in a 10 minute video, but no company keeps a product that doesn’t make money

zepheriths,

??? Ok leave some Pennies in coca cola and see what happens.

zepheriths,

I really don’t care if there is anything I have learned it’s the people are absolutely hollow headed

zepheriths,

A sailboat? My guy that’s a sailboat

Does anyone else hope the bulk of Reddit stays there?

I think my favorite thing about Lemmy is that it feels like Reddit used to. Less negativity, more engaged users (I think). I know it will be fun to watch Reddit die, but if I put spite aside what I’m really mad at Reddit about is more about what Reddit became and maybe part of that is when the general internet user started...

zepheriths,

There is always going to be negative users. They are already here

zepheriths,

The real drowning is the Sudan civil war

zepheriths,

Incorrect. This statement is only true if Israel had started the war. Hamas started the War. Israel has to defend itself otherwise Hamas has already shown it will kill citizens of Israel. Hamas has gone as far as indoctrination of kids. You want to know who is in the right? The Palestinian National Authority. No one else

zepheriths,

Yes but then you get to honor of deciding who is right and who is wrong as well. No one has to right to tell someone which is the case.

Also this is a different level than what has been happening for at least a decade.

zepheriths,

I am referring to what started on the 7th.

zepheriths,

I am cutting context that is irrelevant to my point. My point is both sides are commiting war crimes. I don’t need to add anything because most people already agree Israel is not in the right. I only need to say how Hamas is in the wrong as well. Which judging by the upvote and down votes I have on the initial comment shows I have said something that makes sense

zepheriths,

Basic simplifcation: A large amount of future income for people is going to go towards a house. It’s not so much that the house price not going up causes the collapse in QOL but that it’s a sign of it’s falling or in the case of right now not keeping up. There is a total of 12 trillion dollars owed on mortgages in the US, in a country that’s gdp is around 26 trillion and the average mortgage has somewhere around 15 years left it’s easy to see how that ends up being a reflection of bad things.
