I installed Pop_OS in place of ubuntu last week, and loving it so far. Most things worked out-of-the-box, but there is this one thing that has been bothering me....

I downloaded Java, Removed LibreOffice, and installed OpenOffice. I see all the icons, and everything, but when I click on it to open it, NOTHING happens. I just, wont open, I uninstalled, and reinstalled it. and I dont know what to do. Can anyone please help me?

I have an old laptop that I want to use to replace the “smart” features on my living room TV. Can anybody recommend a distro and setup which could act like a dashboard / remote control setup?...

Whenever I am using an X11 session or a XWayland window, there is a chance the keyboard will stop working (globally for X11, only in XWayland windows if session is Wayland) until the session is restarted....

I like the idea of nixOS and will definitely try it in the future to see how portable I can make the setup be (hopefully a couple of files that can configure the entire machine)....
