oh it’s actually not a font at all? I mean it’s neater than my hand writing for sure. I think if you try to put a bit more spacing between letters it would help
I think the rough pixelated edges on the brush you used aren’t doing any favors either. Maybe that’s just the compression though? Are you making the comic at a higher resolution then downscaling it for export?
All caps, while being very small and dense. More spacing, bigger size of the words and maybe even the use of non-capped letters would make it easier to read.
First comics didn’t have all-caps-writing and the consensus was that that was much worse… I’ll try to be less dense though. I’ll also work on my handwriting.
Have you thought about simply using a handwritten type font? You could even create a font from your own handwriting so that it still has your style, but you only have to take the time for each letter once.
Or if you want to improve your handwriting, that is also great to strive for I guess. Do whatever brings joy in your life :)
I tell people yes do get an EV for your next car. But also use this chance to really think about if you need the car at all. Or does every adult in the household need a car each. Our city is trash for everyone having to own a car.
Best is to run your car to the ground. Then get an EV if you must own a car.
I live a short bike ride away from the shops. I have some side bags for the ebike I built so lugging groceries isn’t too much of an issue.
The biggest shift is learning you wouldn’t shop the same way you do with a car. With a car you go to a big supermarket and load up a trolley. Spend over a hundred for a week’s worth and drive home. With a bike you kinda just buy as needed for the next couple days. You do more trips throughout the week which is kinda nice too. Forces you to get out of the house more. Benefit I realised when doing this was vegetables were less likely to just die out in the fridge since I bought as needed. Which meant I spent a little less overall.
I felt that way about the videos I used to make, but then people watched and commented and I had to deal with that shit and meh. Now I don’t have to worry about being creative and I like it more.
My first project out of college was canceled after a year of hard work. Nothing to do with me or my team. Just the company decided not to do it anymore.
I’ve found that the solution is just not to think about these sorts of things.
The day-to-day work is often rewarding enough, and you’re getting paid because somebody wants you to do it. Make sure that you raise your concerns occasionally, but the rest of the time, just enjoy the daily grind. If you let this stuff bother you, you’ll burn out.
I hate Mitch as much as the next person, but he fucking survived polio. He could be mumbling incoherently at this point and it would still be a huge personal and medical triumph. That’s not to say he should still be in office, but mocking his neurological condition after having survived one of the worst nerve-infecting diseases is in extremely poor taste.
So the reason it does this is Windows update requires a reboot. So it installs the patch, reboots AND THEN shuts down. If your missing the final shut down it’s becuase something is preventing it or you started using it again.
Usually I’ve seen this be an issue on custom build rigs where bios might be out of date or something like fast boot is enabled which is known to cause issues in some cases where computer won’t shutdown cleanly.
Hu weird, this has done so on every single PC I own, including my work laptop and my Surface. No idea what could be wrong, guess some more advanced settings
To be fair, when people in the US think of a “pretzel”, those are the ones they think of. You can buy big bags of those in any supermarket. If you want to get a big, bready pretzel, you have to go to a restaurant.
Bavaria is probably the most "German" german region. That's where all the lederhosen stereotypes come from.
Basically it's the Texas of Germany. Old school, religious, and conservative.
Edit: in the very rural parts, they even have their own dialect that to some Germans is almost completely unintelligible. I realized this when I took German language classes in high school in the USA and what they were having me learn was very much NOT the way my Bavarian mother spoke to me. It felt kind of irritating when they told me I was pronouncing things wrong and my grammar was wrong when I fuckin' lived there as a child and spoke it fluently.
Well it’s the part where after the second world war Americans temporarily governed and American soldiers and their families where stationed. So all they ever saw of Germany was Bavaria. They took their experience back home and so the image spread.
Northern Germany is nothing like southern Germany. Yes they like their beer, but Bratwurst and pretzels? More fish and bread.
I was with you in the first half. But northern Germany still loves their beer and brats. We had bbqs almost every weekend and if you didn’t have beer and brats, you might as well not have a party.
Although there almost always way just a full fish on the grill at some point only in northern Germany so I will give you that.
They still have to pay way more than the others, a tax cut just means they dont have to pay as much more as before, still more (percantage-wise even) than you and me.
Oh god, I run hackintosh and had a problem for months that Win10n wouldn’t update correctly. Had to pull every drive but Win10 before it would update correctly, then properly corrupted itself and I had to do a fresh install anyway. POS OS.
