I’m drunk. My partner deleted what I originally wrote. It was about how fallible we humans are to put it nicely. Regardless of our failings which we know we have, I really wish y’all as great a 2024 as we can manage. At the very least I hope we can have a better year. I won’t be forgetting any auld acquaintances. Have a...
If anyone else is having problems with 0.19.1 federation where outgoing messages don’t seem to make it out to other instances other than at instance restart, it sounds like @mrmanager, the lemmy.today admin, may have managed to resolve the federation issues on his instance. He hasn’t posted here yet (I assume because he...
My mom has a hole in the ground that she puts her clothes drying hanger in. Like this. The hole in the ground is a 2" or so pipe, set in concrete. The pipe has filled with gravel. Edit: copying the font to /usr/local/share/fonts/ fixed it. (I downloaded Debian Xfce a while ago because of how much I dislike Snap, so I’ll soon replace Xubuntu with it.)...
So I got a stream deck recently and installed boatswain. It works fine except it cannot access any apps which actually show in the application menu. It is only available as a flatpak so that could be it
