Barbarians just out there taking half damage like a boss.

In every Soulslike I play, it’s either shadow wizard money gang, or unga bunga. For Elden Ring, I did the former and am now doing the latter.

The real question: do you let them keep their AC or do they actually have to go unarmored

Mirshe,

Unarmored, unarmed except for what you can reasonably hide. You all bought at least 1 dagger over the course of your campaign, right?

Zoomboingding,
@Zoomboingding@lemmy.world avatar

Answer: I just ran a level 1 one-shot aboard a fancy dirigible, and the party indeed had no armor or gear. They had to get it from the supply closet when things went south.

So I can obviously recognize Cyborg, Starfire, beast boy, raven, and presumably that’s Robin and Flash, but who is the dark-haired girl on the left?

Goblin_Mode,

Which ones cyborg

More than I knew: Didn’t know who the redhead guy was.

Cort,

Lightning bolt tie pin was the only thing that clued me in.

neoman4426,

Donna Troy version of Wonder Girl maybe? Has black hair and was a Titan

QuantumSparkles,

I thought it was Zatanna until someone pointed out the arm braces

NakariLexfortaine,

Silver bracers, black dress with sparkles, seems like Donna Troy to me.

I can’t think of anyone else with quite the same pattern as they normally use for her.

DragonTypeWyvern,

Wonder Girl?

As a filthy casual with little to no knowledge of comics outside of a few cartoons…

… I’m incredibly confused and distracted by retro-cyborg’s design.

EmpathicVagrant,

What gets me is his design is different in the painting of all of them on the wall in the back

Which issue is this?

gosh i used to pour over every DND book I could find.

I remember the first time I saw Deities & Demigods. I could not put any of it down. I loved the black and white ink drawings of the books of the generation of DnD I call mine.

Some people play it like fantasy accounting, Some people play it like improv with fidget toys. Good thing I'm here to tell everyone the right way to play.

tdawg,

The trick is to learn what the table does and copy that. There’s fun to be had in both styles (and even a blend of the two)

Wait, you’re actually supposed to read the numbers on the dice? I thought it was just an aesthetic thing…

Eh nothing captures the toxic masculinity quite like holding a woman’s neck to mansplain something to her.

ChickenLadyLovesLife,

I feel like the guy standing over the girl at a party with his hand on the wall above her head - to show “ownership” - is even more representative of the species.

Archlinuxforever,

What “species”

ChickenLadyLovesLife,

Masculinus Toxicitus

austinfloyd,

Oh that’s definitely true. I was just surprised to see something similar (especially the avoiding eye contact) in the animal kingdom.

I’m not defending this dude at all but some people just like it. My girlfriend has explicitly told me that she likes when I grab,/squeeze her neck. I’m also not a mansplaning douch though.

stephen01king,

Does she make that uncomfortable face when you grab her neck in public?

peopleproblems,

Yeah, my ex liked it too, but she explained that it was like an easy massage she could get me to give her in public.
