Except he didn’t invent the words used to name what he invented. If he had just named it gif and pronounced it jif and non of those letters stood for anything I would see your point, but he didn’t. He named it graphic interchange format, shortened to gif. That said, who gives a shit pronounce it how you want. Language evolves anyways.

That reminds me. All of the change machines I had the pleasure of using were very gentle when taking your money. Felt kinda jarring coming back to the US where they fucking jank the money our of your hand the second you insert it.

Yea same here but in a different way than what people usually mean. Don’t fake being rich until you are. I was and to a certain extent still am socially anxious and bad at talking to people and holding conversations. I started faking being more socially adept than I actually was by copying people I knew who were extroverts and by observing peoples interactions in the wild. Eventually I did get better with both and have no issue with either, although I do need some time to recharge later on after social interactions.

Haven’t seen it in years. Edge is also a decent browser for when you need it. I use Firefox 99.9 percent of the time but for the odd site that it won’t load edge works just fine.

Oh shid and cume. Isn’t that sorta what the free loot cards are? The ones you get randomly for doing stuff in games. Iirc you can sell them on their marketplace for money. It isn’t unreasonable for a new dick head CEO to just overhaul that system into a more active gacha system for all their games.

I always say this when people start harping about mother earth and climate change.

Before I go further and get downvoted. I BELIEVE IN CLIMATE CHANGE AND I WANT TO SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT.

There is literally nothing humans could do currently to actually destroy the planet, even if we set off all the nukes at the same time in the worst places. There’s nothing we could do to truly eradicate all life either. Plenty of places bacteria and small animals could survive until it’s chill again to evolve. What we can do is make it unlivable for ourselves and our offspring. Not that I personally care much since I don’t want kids and neither do my siblings but we still do our parts to at least minimize our impact.

You’re first 2 points especially matter. I like browsing low views/newer channels/streams and I’m sorry but I’m not interested in the 200th all day league streamer. I watch wubby fairly often and he streams 3ish hours 3 days a week. A decent length at a regular schedule. I have a friend who streams for roughly 8ish people ::: spoiler spoiler every day but she does it for about an hour and a half at the same time and both of these people interact with the audience/content they’re doing.

I know some people prefer completely silent streams with just gameplay but the majority of people who go to twitch do it for the social aspect.

Used to work at chilli’s. Was about the same. Stuff brought in warmed/cooked in house. Half way through my time there they changed some cook tops for those conveyer belt machines similar to the pizza ones. Mostly for seafood and other easy timed foods. Prep guys were also there at like 9 am. Chips were made in house. Most meat also cooked to order. Most sauced were brought in bags and just warmed. All veggies and the like were fresh daily.

Except the internet can be killed fairly easily if governments really wanted too. All the internet is, is a collection of servers storing data and allowing people to access it. Just shut down all power and order big corps to do the same with back up power.

In a situation where the world is getting controlled by AI and we are gonna be wiped out I don’t see why governments and corps would decline to work together and just shut it down for a day.
