Realized my family was spending more than $200/mo on streaming and other media sources. Been a while, but I’m sailing the high seas again. Ethically, I agree with “Piracy.” Fuck Disney with a cactus. Functionally, it’s a service problem for me....

Anyone know if anything like this?

To be clear, this is just a joke, and I don’t look down on direct downloading. It absolutely has its place, and sometimes I do it myself if it’s just faster to download a file directly. Torrenting is just so much more convenient, though, especially when using Jackett’s manual search.

Are there any groups on lemmy or discord that discusses movies releases in the pirated community? For example, the Barbie movie just dropped but it has Korean subs, got me thinking about looking for places to chat about the releases

Hello people I recently set up a qBittorrent + Arr setup that is being run through a Gluetun container. I also got a port from AirVPN and added it as the FIREWALL_VPN_INPUT_PORTS environment variable to the docker-compose file. I am also able to see it on canyouseeme....

As reported in TorrentFreak, Italian regulator AGCOM has “successfully” blocked 45 pirate IPTV providers in Italy at the behest of commercial sports streaming company DAZN Italia. DAZN claims piracy steals €800,000 from live sports every single day (they are obviously batshit crazy)....

The aim is to have a qbittorrent setup combined with a service like plex (or jellyfin?) to easily stream music, movies and TV shows to my mobile devices....

I wrote a little essay a few ago about pirating games on SteamDeck, I am not sur it is allowed here. I didn’t saw any rules against. If it is feel free to pm me I will remove my post. Hope this help other with low budget....

Browsing the internet I found this app called VMOS which is basically an Android emulator inside Android and it’s great for testing or playing pirated games, the problem is that the app is almost completely in Chinese and I was curious to investigate how much the “Premium” version that unlocks root access and other things...

After trying out close to 30 services and ranking them in a spreadsheet, I was surprised by the huge gap in quality. At this point I started to get curious, I thought, “How good can it really get?”...
