A group of filmmakers wants Reddit to disclose the identities of several users who made piracy-related comments. Reddit objects, citing its users’ right to anonymous speech.

Since we are all pirates moving away from Reddit I was thinking if another r/Megalinks style community could be made on Lemmy and survive? (Or pehaps already exists?)...

Is this possible anymore if you have a paid account or have they locked it down pretty well?

A lot of stuff is available through Deezer or Tidal i know, but what sources are you guys using when FLACs for particular albums or songs cannot be found on Deezer or Tidal? I’m putting this together because I posted a while ago about using IRC to acquire ebooks on Reddit, and there was a metric shit ton of interest from others in learning how to do it. Much of this info is available on the net, but it can be difficult to track down if you don’t know exactly what to look for....

This is just a short rant and is not meant to insult anyone already on here, or further newcomers that joined, join or will still join. Also reminder that this is based on my experience and not necessarily facts, YMMV....

I use Playnite as a launcher for my pirated games. It would be nice to have a way to sync my save games between devices somehow....
