This is a cool song but it has nothing to do with melodic death metal. That would be bands like (old) In Flames, At the Gates, Amon Amarth or Dark Tranquillity.
First off, I’m not the arbiter of what does and doesn’t belong to a certain genre. That’s, to a certain extent, subjective and people don’t always agree. However, there usually is at least some consensus in the community, otherwise the genre names would be useless.
That said, I personally wouldn’t call this melodic death metal either. Most of the song is just clean singing and clean guitars, both of which are sometimes used in melodeath, but they’re not a defining aspect of it. And even the parts with harsh vocals and distorted guitars are missing the riffs that are typical for the genre. It’s closer to a progressive death metal or groove metal sound similar to Gojira or Opeth.
Overall Jinjer are also definitely not a melodeath band, they’re metalcore, which is often seen as a subgenre of hardcore, not metal, although there are bands that are more on the metal side.
As I said, I’m not the genre police, this is just my opinion. But I think (sub)genre definitions are useful when talking about music and if we start using them too loosely, they lose their meaning and as a result, their utility.
i’ve been depressed my entire life and my dental hygiene used to be atrocious as a kid. these days, in my late 20s, i typically brush once a day in the morning and mouthwash before bed because the day takes a lot out of me energy wise and brushing my teeth ends up feeling like a monumental task. i go to the dentist every 3 to 4 months so more than the average person, but my insurance covers it. i use an electric toothbrush. i’ve only had one cavity and have all of my teeth including my wisdom teeth because they’re not damaged and don’t have cavities.
Many people fail to think about the depression and lack of brushing. I too am in the same boat. Turns out my meds are even making my teeth soft no matter what i do…
I did two, two week stents while living out of a hotel....I will never do it again if I have to do it out of a hotel. But 6pm to 2 am etc out of my own place I'd consider.
It's just hard at first forcing yourself to sleep. Blackout curtains help. Or a sleep mask.
It is nearly impossible when you are not living on your own and able to keep circadian rhythm. It also just sucks IMO. I wouldn’t do it again unless I was paid 3+ times as much as a day shift.
Every song is an earthworm to me (I sing or hum constantly) but there are TWO SONGS that TRUMP EVERY SONG and destroy my playlist, playing non-stop for at least a week after I hear them, sometimes just mentioning them is enough. I hate them so much, they are like my nemesis(es).
Once you get them together, consider doing the POSSE thing and posting them to a blog first. That way you can retain full control of them and still spread them around wherever they may be useful. There's even an ActivityPub module for WordPress!
I don’t have fun at all - when I work out just to “work out,” anyway. Then I have to think about it sort of like physical medicine. I do it cause it’s good for me.
But if I can find a way to get the heart pumping that’s primarily about doing an activity, with fitness just being secondary, I have a lot more fun. I recently got into boxing for fitness because kneee trouble was making high-impact cardio painful. Love it. Training becomes something to look forward to because boxing is fun rather than metaphorical castor oil that I swallow down because I need to.
I’m on a Watermelon Man kick right now. You should listen to it by Poncho Sanchez. Herbie Hancock is a genius, a modern day miracle, and outside of jazz almost no one knows.

Encrypted at rest and end-to-end. Those clouds don’t have your decryption key. Decryption happens in your browser client-side.
Cross platform. Anything that can load a webpage or is compatible with KeePass can use it. It can be bookmarked to the home screen on mobile and it becomes its own app.
Auto fill via hotkey on PC.
Supports PINs/Multi-Factor Authentication codes.
Can attach secret files like backup codes or SSH keys.
Can configure how strong the encryption is on the KeePass file.
Theme support.
Secrets can be exported.
Edit: in another comment someone mentioned the KeeWeb developer is looking for another maintainer due to their own personal health issues. It’s been stale since mid-2022, while the core is considered still secure there is concern for its dependencies. It can be compiled at home with updated dependencies if that concerns you.
I think such content gets most engagement. Dunking on leftist ideas brings right wingers celebrating and parroting the piece while pissed left wingers trying to explain why the argument doesn’t make sense.
McDonalds is a standard, but I prefer Arby's seasoned curly fries
Wendy's recently changed their fries and they're good enough, but prefer Smash fries.
(Special mention goes to Canadian KCF, which offers fries and gravy instead of mashed potatoes and gravy. I don't know if their US fries are different because I don't mess with that if mashed 'taters are an option.)
Five guys and Checkers
Steak 'n Shake and Popeyes
Overall, if I were choosing a place based solely on the fries: Smash > Five Guys > Popeyes > Arby's
The top two spots were tricky. I like the 5 guys fresh cut style, but Smash mixes a traditional thin cut fast food fry with rosemary. And they don't make things weird by giving you more than you can or should eat.
The only one I actively dislike is Chick-fil-A, but some of the other offerings are 'meh' enough that they need ketchup.
Missing entries: Penn Station and Skyline. They're both regional, but I like both of them over most of the other offerings. Penn Station has fresh-cut style and Skyline's fries are thin and crispy.
You have to do it long enough to where it becomes a habit. Once you hit that point, you won’t feel as good mentally and physically when you don’t work out. It took over three years for the habit to come about with me, but now I work out 6 day’s a week and appreciate it. I also enjoy the changes it’s made in body.
It varies for me. Some days I’m like “I get to work out! 😄”
And other days are closer to
“I have to work out 😣”
But I like the progress I’ve made, I’m even starting to see shadow under my ribs. I always feel better after the workout though, and it makes me feel like the relaxation time I typically do after is earned.
