If you buy anything grown almost anywhere, it is with slave labor or near-slave labor. So many of the crops grown in the US use child labor and labor for very very low wages, low enough that it may as well be slavery.
Hand drying options are actually much better than they were 20-30 years ago. Even the electric ones are pretty great now. 30 years ago it would be one of those electric ones with the round button that feels like someone blowing on your hands through a straw, or at the gas station it would be one continuous loop of thick blue cloth.
I go out of my way to tip extra when they don’t approach me at all and just let me eat my damn meal in peace.
Also, if they think they’re going to get a polite lie about what I think about the food, the establishment, and the service, they are about to be sorely disappointed. Don’t ask me if you aren’t prepared for the raw truth.
