Anticorp,

Oh, I guess I didn’t read that far. Well that’s cool then.

Anticorp,

Huh, I read about this mission before hand and was expecting it to be very difficult. Reading about it doesn’t really give you a clear picture of what you’re going to encounter, but it does let you know that you only have 6 turns to get everyone out. I had everyone drink speed potions as soon as their turns started. The Duke wasn’t an issue at all. The spiders popped up and exploded, bringing his health down, but the spiders never got a round two. Astarion can attack I think 7 times in one round with speed potion, and I think 11 times if he uses action surge. He hits hard too. So I had Astarion run over and end those spiders. He killed all of them in 1 turn. I suppose a well placed fireball or other AOE could do the trick too. Once the spiders are dead then it’s just a quick dash to the sub and the Duke is safe. The biggest challenge is making sure you don’t get restrained by one of the Naga or whatever those things are. The second biggest is making sure that you send people down each of the correct 3 corridors. Send extra people to the corridor that is flooding since you will have extra NPC enemies pop up there. If you take Wyll and have an earth elemental summoned, you can leave it there and all of the enemies will pound on that thing while you make your way to safety.

Anticorp,

All of those points you made are things that good PVPers will do, except for stopping the fight if you’re not responding. Are you sure you’re not just timing out and reconnecting?

Anticorp,

That’s a bit darker than Larson usually goes.

Anticorp,

Thanks for the response! That was very helpful.

Anticorp,

I use it for programming a lot too. You have to explain everything to it like you would a brand new engineer, and then it is often wrong with certain parts like you said. But if you know enough about coding to figure out where it’s wrong, and just write those parts yourself, it can still be a huge time saver.

Anticorp,

Anyone with a decent memory, lots of money, and the ability to work for free for several years can become a doctor.

Anticorp,

I can’t speak for anyone else, but the lyrics you wrote are the only lyrics to the entire song that I know, and I’ve always thought it was just some weird gibberish. Granted, I’ve never actively listened to it or sought it out, I’ve only heard it in passing.

Anticorp,

And PHP will still be chugging along. lol. It’s weird that React syntax went from being fairly pretty, and structured, to looking like a plate of spaghetti. Usually languages and frameworks go the other direction.

Anticorp,

Right? It’s so weird that a bunch of blue collar Americans have latched on to a NYC trust fund billionaire, and think he has their interests at heart.

Anticorp,

Mac OS has autocorrect enabled by default on the entire operating system. Why TF would I want that when I’m typing with a full-sized physical keyboard? It’s especially annoying when you’re typing code. So yeah, I disabled all that crap within a couple of minutes. It’s super annoying.

Anticorp,

Very true

Anticorp,

Google temporarily delays rollout of their DRM for Web until public attention shifts to something worse they propose that was always a smokescreen.

Anticorp,

I’m pretty sure those sensors use silver, which won’t capture the vampire’s image.

I had no idea that you could download movies from the 90ies from archive.org (jeena.net)

I couldn’t find the Flintstones movie from 1994 anywhere but googling it I found it here archive.org/details/the-flintstones_202304 and you can either download it via torrent or directly. On top of it it says that the movie is CC0 which means Public Domain. But that can’t really be, it’s only 29 years old....

Anticorp,

I was really worried that it wouldn’t hold up, but it does! It holds up well.

Anticorp,

Temba, his arms wide!

Anticorp,

I just mean that the style of the movie is heavily copied by John Wick.

Anticorp,

I guess it’s like Patrick Stewart/Picard’s “in the future nobody cares if you’re bald”.

Then why do all the ladies love Riker and his glorious hair?

Anticorp,

He said the exact opposite, that he hopes everyone will watch it on the big screen.

Anticorp,

I didn’t know the second Spiderverse movie was 3 hours long when I started it and by the end I was like “Wrap it up, man! I need to hit the hay.” But instead of wrapping it up they just ended it without wrapping anything up. I was disappointed tbh.

Anticorp,

I saw one that said “this is what life under Bernie Sanders would be like”. The person who posted it couldn’t compute that no, this is literally life under your beloved trumpy-poo. This is literally happening now, it’s not some hypothetical situation.

This fast food order kiosk accepts cash (mander.xyz)

All the McD*nalds in my area have been upgraded with order kiosks. Regardless of all the controversy around self-checkout, and minimum wage, and automation taking our jobs, I personally love them. I can take my sweet time composing my order, I can see the full selection (such as it is), I can see pictures and prices clearly...

Anticorp,

Those are both examples of improvements. Self-checkout is not an improvement, it’s outsourcing of work to customers.

Anticorp,

There’s always a line for self-checkout now too though, and you still need to consider what to package first. Ultimately it’s down to personal preference. There are a lot of people on this platform with social anxiety who prefer self-checkout. Personally I hate it, and everything it represents, but I understand why some people prefer it. As an express lane it’s pretty okay, but self checkout for an entire cart of products is bullshit.
