Maybe I should’ve just shut up and thought for a bit longer before writing that comment…

Clickbait ≠ Clicky titles.

Say what you want but their videos aint bait and switch.
They sure are borderline there though.

I think OP miswrote the name.

My guess is: Lips sealed until the investigation concludes (if there is one actually planned/in progress)

I guess, rules are meant to be broken?

But even here: Not a bait and switch. He made a “bad” decision. Wording is (as you said) bad but technically not incorrect.

If I’d had to choose between the framework clickbait and this video by Mint Blitz “This Is Concerning”, I’d prefer the LTT type of clickbait.
At least I got the information that it’s about Framework and Linus considered it a “mistake”. If I wouldnt care about framework I wouldnt even click it.

Me vs my ISP

So I was looking into getting port forwarding set up and I realized just how closed-off the internet has gotten since the early days. It’s concerning. It used to be you would buy your own router and connect it to the internet, and that router would control port-forwarding and what-have-you....

Love that random google docs link instead of something like a tech blog.
Only a pastebin link could make it better.

And you’d need to convince the customer to share the pics to have a parasocial relationnship together.
If you’d ask for the pics based on “fuck the talent/artist. Let’s share those pics for everyone” they’d very likely respond with “fuck off”.

Hardware question

Hello! This might not be the right community but I’m looking at building a new server and you operate in similar areas and might have experience with this. I’ve got a GPU without video outputs, can I combine that with a CPU without integrated graphics and still get video output from the HDMI located on the motherboard?

Appoxo,
@Appoxo@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

Depends. You can send the signal in Windows through another port.
But if it works without an iGPU…

In that case nevermind.
Carry on.

Agreed.
I’m a professional IT tech and see a lot of desktops during the week including my own.
We have some Windows PCs that still had 1809 installed because Windows does not manage to update itself without being forced to search.

Regarding the shipping cost:
Just collect things to buy until you are over the treshold. Helped me with overbuying stuff I don’t even really need.
If you are moatly in it for the shipping: Just stop. You give them more money through that than paying for shipping.

This makes it easier to intergrate with more extensive integration.

I am trying to figure out why you’d even need that.
The measurements of the product is usually written in the tech spec.

Mine are Easyhost at a deal, sabnzbd and the *arrs
As indexers I only use the free tiers.

Radarr is to keep it organized so programs like Jellyfin can understand it and I can watch it instead of digging in directories.

Technically not a time travel movie but it has a few elements of it: Interstellar (2014)
