I went and looked this up, turns out drinking acetone isn’t as outright dangerous as I expected. Our bodies produce a little of the stuff when breaking down fat, into ketones. It’s only a problem when there’s too much of the stuff for the liver to process.

So basically it’s like drinking rubbing alcohol.

… Which you still shouldn’t do.

It’s not an absolute masterpiece like some of his comedies, but it was still enjoyable in my opinion. It’s basically Edgar Wright tries out psychological horror. I just wanted to watch Matt try out being fuckin creepy and got exactly that.
