I own divinity and divinity 2, and you are correct. They keep giving up improvement and fun adds for the game long after release.

I'm pretty much at a loss for words here. This feels like a definitive-edition style update we're getting basically for free. It's 30 gigs of goodness, so game-changing in fact that you need 130GB of space just to let it shuffle everything around, and Larian's straight up recommended just doing a clean reinstall if you're having trouble. Baldur's Gate 3 fans haven't just been eating good, we've been feasting.

Wow...just wow. I am amazed at the dedication of Larian to improve their game and actually listen to their customers and try to please them.

I am a fan of Larian.

If you were looking for a Remote Desktop program to help a customer or other user, TeamViewer worked for me on Ubuntu. It was a great way to fix an issue remotely with a Windows user.

But you may not be looking for this type of connection.

Wait, are you telling me I can romance more than 1 person and they are cool with that?

Hairyblue,
@Hairyblue@kbin.social avatar

Wow, so each companion has different response to sex outside the relationship?

I wonder if Gale would have been ok with being in a relationship with me and Halsin. Today's relationships are complex.

It is nice to be able to help someone. I think ever companion has ties to the main story. I am still working on finishing my first playthrough.

I saw some articles about people playing honor mode and having some bad luck. Like them getting a bunch on critical fails on dice rolls. Rigged! (Grin) And another player finishing the honor run in 38 mins.

Hairyblue,
@Hairyblue@kbin.social avatar

That is wild. I didn't read to see how they did it. Didn't want spoilers, but I know there are lots of ways the game would end early fairly, but you are right, I am not sure 38 mins is a fair play through.

Oh, well it is a good thing I broke up with him. He seems has taken the breakup well, but nothing has happened with Halsin yet.

I wonder if Gale would have told me off.

And I don't even play a musical instrument.

Do you get to play the Divinity 2 music? Divinity 2 has some really good music too.

Karlach seems like a fun person to be around, when she is not in a rage. I love how funny she is.

I was romancing Gale. He is a funny guy and we had some fun together, but he is the kind of guy you have to fix, or he will blow up. You know that type of man.

So I broke it off with Gale and I am now trying to land Halsin. He seems more affectionate and more loving that Gale. I think I can get him. I have a beard, men like beards. LOL

The article says Shadowheat is the most romanced. I am not attracted to women, but isn't she in a cult?

Who did everyone romance? I am stuck at work with hump day talk. Weekend is the time I can get back to playing BG3.

I have always liked Nvidia for years. When I moved to Linux, the Nvidia drivers have been working great on X11. I am currently playing Baldur's Gate 3 and I have DLSS 2 turned on and get frame rates at 100. Looks great and awesome game. But I know Wayland is the future and want Nvidia to work well with it and Steam. I will get an AMD if I have to but my card is still great and I am not looking for a new one yet.

Hairyblue,

I want everyone to move over to Wayland too.

I use my Linux PC for gaming. Last time I tried Steam/Nvidia with Wayland I could only get one game to launch. So hopefully those 2 will work on making Wayland happen for us.

I was waiting for Nvidia drivers 545 to try again, but I checked last weekend and Ubuntu still had 535 drivers. I hear Nvidia did a lot of fixes for wayland on the new drivers.

I just noticed this yesterday. As a gay man, I find this makes the game even more fun to play. I hope everyone else is enjoying seeing the guys jiggle.

Larian keeps perfecting the game, and I am very impressed with that level of dedication from a gaming company.

@Hairyblue@kbin.social avatar

I hope I don't loose my gay card over this, but I am terrible at picking out things to wear. So I guess that stereotype is just wrong, or I am not doing gay right. (Grin)

Shut up Astarion!

Wayland is the future and X11 is heading to the past.

Hairyblue,
@Hairyblue@kbin.social avatar

LOL so you can't save at all unless you quit the game and reload? I don't see me getting the gold dice.

If true, this is nice touch. This game is so well crafted by people who love D&D and making games.

I have not had the pleasure of being a wheel of cheese. I love eating cheese and crackers though.

Through Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. PT, fans will be able to help choose the winners in all categories via online voting on thegameawards.com. In addition, for the second year in a row, fans can vote for the Game Awards nominees on the award show’s official Discord server (as well as join a live watch party on Dec. 7 and react to the winners in real time).

I think Baldur's Gate 3 is going to walk away with everything they are nominated for.

I don't have a current Xbox (I still have the 360 in a box in my closet), but I want my Xbox friends to be able to enjoy this great game.
