Like looking up a mediocre band/dj you heard while rolling at a festival. Ugh. Makes you think maybe drugs just make people dumb enough to like everything.
It’s not just a percentage thing. 1 person yesterday to 2 people today is a 100% increase. Not much of a surge, at least in terms of news worthiness. Going from 6% to 10% sounds more news worthy than going from 1% to 2% despite the latter being a much larger percentage increase.
Sugar and alcohol just make everything harder for your liver. Just eat well before, and drink plenty of water before, between, and after alcohol. Drink a bit less alcohol when going out. Get to bed at a semi reasonable time. Skip the sugar water.
Glass of wine with dinner is 100% safe, if not beneficial.
People who are addicted or abusing need to check themselves regardless of the psychoactive drug they choose, and stop pretending it matters if their are other worse drugs or not.
Im curious as I usually use the site very occasionally to get certain electronic parts or order from PCBway like I just picked up some cheap but infinitely better than stock gps antennas for my LoRa T beams and im about to get a set of also still cheap but much better than stock 915mhz antennas but i kinda wanna throw some other...
Simple sugars are carbs with one (monosaccharide) or two (disaccharide) sugar molecules. They literallly are sugars. If you are attempting to assert that all non complex carbohydrates are sugars, you are wrong. A potato or a serving of pasta is not at all like a candy bar. Bros science diets might be bad for your brain, btw.
What is “#16 black pepper?” Isn’t that just a grind size?
I didn’t know people used preground at home. Not any cheaper and tastes like actual dust. With a regular old pepper mill you can change that grind size easily. And no matter the grind size it doesn’t have the ability to make food “spicy” as in “hot.”
This is a subjective, but would be pretty universally laughed at in the culinary world especially when compared to France, Italy, Tokyo, or any American city.
restaurants weren’t even prevalent until the early 1900s, way past the introduction of spices.
Outside of London the UK has a very low presence of Michelin rated restaurants compared to Europe, the US, and Japan. Not the best metric, but there’s no reason why Britain’s restaurants, who would stand to benefit from such rating, is being unfairly treated.
Btw I actually like British food, and have spent a lot of time in the UK. Just think your comment is funny, and the upvotes are funnier.
Yeah. People hate hearing that it’s ugly. But it’s ugly. Some people have houses that have the backside facing the right way. But when the panels are all upfront it looks bad imo.
The fact that most people understand people are being literally figurative is proof that the word is working linguistically. It’s easy to understand in context which use is being intended, and always has been. The fact that people are bothered by it is the new annoying phenomenon.
Pendants should read books, just once, or twice, at least.
China is a corporatist authoritarian state. Basically late stage capitalism with a bunch of steps skipped. Corporations married to the government. Where the right wing in America is headed.
Every town and city I ever went in the early 2000s to had multiple crowded LAN centers. It was definitely mainstream, and definitely wasn’t just geeks. Pretending file sharing was not mainstream by 2000 is like pretending Star Wars is only for nerds.
I like the taste of meat. It’s really quite delicious. I just don’t eat it often. I also like video games, but I don’t play them often. I enjoy lots of things on occasion.
I see no reason to avoid meat entirely. That’s my personal choice. And when there’s lab grown meat I won’t have to worry about it. I’ll just buy lab grown.
