Oh jeez. I really hope I don’t have a recovery like that. I expect it to be so rough though. Idek what is going to be done. I haven’t met my surgeon yet. It’s late here, so everything is being done in the morning. They put me in a special splint and have me on pain meds.

I had fentanyl in the ambulance and it made me super talkative. I had morphine earlier and that was fun. It has worn off and I have no idea what I’ll be getting next.

My parents are helping me with my pets. I’ll be staying with them with my dogs after my surgery. My mom will be stopping by mynhouse twice a day to care for my ducks and check on my cats. My dogs (especially my beagle) love trying to make me feel better, so I expect them to give me so much attention when we are reunited. I already have a great support system. My work is even being hella supportive even though I’ll be out for a while. All of the people in charge have texted me to see how I’m doing.

I’ve had experiences with surgeons, so I won’t be surprised if this guy is kind of an ass. Idgaf as long as he fixes me. Every anesthesiologist I’ve met have been so nice

I’ve had lots of surgery, but this one is the second most intense. I’m terrified of how I’m going to feel afterwards. They will be putting some hardware in and I’m afraid it’ll hurt more than it does now. My pain is so bad right now that I’ve been crying for hours. Morphine isn’t even taking the edge off.

My mom taught babies for a while in rural Pennsylvania and 90% of the babies got Mountain Dew put in their bottles all day every day. The water quality in that area is terrible, so nobody drank water. The only people that drank water around there were those who were wealthy enough to buy an absurd amount of gallon jugs. Jugged water was more expensive than soda around there, the last time I checked.

I use Google drive to backup my pics and memes because I don’t have enough to warrant getting anything bigger. I have the $2/month Google One subscription because the free one was barely too small. I can’t get rid of memes tho.

Do y'all have any suggestions on how to stimulate an unruly puppy?

I have a very smart 4 month old goldendoodle who loves getting into everything. She has no interest in her toys or chews. I’m at my wits end. She won’t respond to any correction or redirection. I puppy proofed tf out of my house but she still finds shit to get into. Idek where she gets some of the stuff she finds....

To my knowledge there’s no stagnant water on my property, I’ve run water through all my ptraps, and I’m careful to not leave doors open. Yet at any given time there’s at least 3 in my house. I can’t sleep, i can’t sit on the couch, i can’t exist in the fear of being sucked dry....

I have so many spiders on my property. My fave is the bold jumper that lives in my living room. He started off by moving in and residing in a box of captain crunch. I let him live there and he left eventually and moved to the living room. Idk what he ate when he lived the cereal box, but he got significantly bigger.

I really enjoy video games, crafts, dnd, reading, and taking care of my critters. I have one dog, 2 cats, and 10 ducks. I will be getting a puppy next weekend. My dog is a beagle, my cats are just regular tabbys, and the breeds of ducks I have are: 4 French white muscovies, 1 jumbo Pekin, one regular Pekin that's crippled, 2 cayugas, a golden layer, and a khaki campbell. The puppy I am getting is a goldendoodle.

I work in IT as a tier one help desk tech as a means to feed and shelter myself and my critters.
