This involves bulls inseminating the cows or more commonly non-consensual artificial insemination
Animals aren’t capable of consenting to anything. They lack both the communication capabilities and the mental facilities to make the kind of decisions that are involved in any kind of consent. This is similar to how the severely mentally disabled are unable to consent and must instead have a caretaker give medical consent.
I’ll concede that animal farming practices are generally difficult to justify and align with our modern morals, but farm animals can and often are treated with a level of respect to quality of life that is not far from some pets, just with the added expectation that they also provide for us.
I’ve been reducing my sugar intake and recently fully quit caffeine. I was never big on sodas but I recently had one at a work lunch because it was the only option available and it was shocking how overly sweet it seemed
By memory it had a Firefox extension it installed and relied on to make a few things slightly smoother like h264 video, but that was a good decade ago and Mint today doesn’t like you said
Outlook really has a lot of obscure features that not many people used. I think it’s good for them to cull these less used features and later re-add them rewritten in a more supportable manner.
I also really appreciate the emoji-reactions because I don’t have to type out a response expressing that I have read and acknowledge an email, I can just give it a thumbs up and move on, and they don’t receive a whole email to read, they just see that it got a thumbs up and can move on too
it should be more hands-off for the user and the server should silently just do the thing to get the instanced community before sending data back to the client
Understanding how much data it might be potentially requesting, I’d even accept a “please wait while we load this community” screen that then redirects to the community once its been loaded onto your instance
Shout-out to the /r/Sysadmin mods who decided subreddit uptime was too important to partake in the blackout. Man that place just had a really toxic tone and really made me strongly want to avoid the Sysadmin career track
edit: I want to post this map but its complaining that the content type isn’t html. I don’t really see the purpose of linking a webpage when linking directly to the image will allow it to properly embed? Not sure if that’s an instance limitation or a community limitation but it seems like not the right choice for meme communities
I’ve run cinnamon on some pretty anemic systems and it was quite snappy. But I’d also been able to upgrade the memory so if it’s not upgradabe that may not be as good
realise I want to go back to uni and study info tech
I highly recommend it! College as an adult who’s been in the workforce is way better than college as a kid fresh out of highschool. Great opportunity to make some more friends, do some cool college activities, plus there’s lots of good opportunities for student pricing on stuff if you have a .edu email and its a brilliant change of pace.
Youtube’s default player will now resize the viewport depending on the aspect ratio of the content, so I suspect it would do the same for vertical video
Netflix because there’s always something we want to watch
Disney+ (in the Disney+Hulu bundle with no ads in either. I’ll be dropping hulu soon for lack of content) for the kids to get their Disney movie fix, plus it also has quite a few movies/shows we generally want to watch
Nebula because it costs very little and directly supports creators I already watch
Amazon Prime because I order just enough on Amazon to be worth keeping Prime around for plus the video service.
SiriusXM because I live in a rural area with crap cell service and I don’t like country music so AM/FM radio isn’t a option
